How to install g729 codec on FreePBX v12?

I've contacted their support and got this back from them:

FreePBX is not software that was developed or maintained by Digium so we would not be able to tell you how to get this set up unfortunately. You would need to contact FreePBX or view their online forums for assistance with this.

So here I am. What am I doing wrong?
