Match (Permit) for PJSIP sip extension equivalent to permit/deny for chansip?

There is a field Match (Permit). Is that supposed to do the same thing as permit/deny in chansip?
Probably not as it doesn’t behave that way.

I am reading through the description of that field but It doesn’t tell me about its function.
What does it do?
