I’m have troubles with my User control panel.
Error” Unable to connect to the UCP Node Server because: ‘Error: xhr poll error’
My environment as follow;
CentOS 7 Virtual machine, 2 CPU, 4GB Ram, 100GB HDD
ISO Used= SNG7-FPBX-64bit-1712-2.iso
FreePBX 14.0.3.1
Asterisk 13.0.7.1
User Control Panel14.0.2.5
I installed FreePBX on Virtual machine, Logged in Admin console then executed all updates for modules and the system. Once updates were finished, I created EXT (101), enable UCP. With http I had no problems. I wanted to test Softphone system on UCP, it requests HTTPS, I configured self-signed cert as show in image URL above. After logging back in I received the error “Unable to connect to the UCP Node Server because: ‘Error: xhr poll error’”
Research the following places;
When logging into UCP on any account I’m getting “Unable to connect to the UCP Node Server because: ‘Error: xhr poll error’” I’ve removed and reinstalled UCP, ran all system updates, ran all module updates and still no luck. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Resolved: Turns out this was caused by the “Default Certificate” in “Certificate Management” not matching the SSL under “System Admin > HTTPS Setup”. I changed it to match and the message no longer comes up.
I’m running freepbx 13 and I have an error across to top of the page when logging in to User Control Panel.

is there a fix for this? I can’t find anything that works using google. I tried uninstall and reinstalling ucp but that didn’y make a difference…

I upgraded my system from 6.12.65-28 to 10.13.66-16
Now in the UCP I get the folling error message:
Unable to connect to the UCP Node Server because: ‘Error: xhr poll error’
Any idea how to fix this?

After some updates this weekend, I get the following error when any user logs into UCP. "Unable to connect to the UCP node server because: ‘Error: xhr poll error’ " This occurs after any user logs into UCP and it is in a red bar at the top of the screen.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should go to troubleshoot this issue?

I want to use https, version is latest, ports are open. I do not get the error if I use http.
Has this been fixed, or not? I though I read where it had been fixed.
We are currently running version 10.13.66-5 with asterisk 13. Whenever anyone logs into the UCP there is an error:
From “http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ” socket was false?
I have tried to google some assistance, as there was no thread with my issue, and the responses were unhelpful at best. As always any thoughts are appreciated.
The following steps have been executed;
fwconsole stop ucpnode
fwconsole start ucpnode
yum remove nodejs
yum install nodejs
I tried fwconsole ma uninstall/install/download ucpnode
Restarted the server after making Certs, completed
Uninstalled XMPP
Installed XMPP again
Dashboard
Port Management
Any more adice or direction would be appreciated.
